Youssef Mansour believes that the true foundation of his career and what got him ahead in the business world was his education. He received two degrees from North Carolina State University: the first in Textile Technology and the second in Textile Chemistry, later receiving an MBA from Auburn University. He moved to New York and pursued a career in investment banking, returning to Egypt in 1976. 

He deserves sizable credit in giving Mansour the reputation of being the retail kings of local business, stemming from his focus on how to benefit the local economy and bring the best out of it. For him, the process is very simple: bringing in top quality international brands, fully activating the Egyptian economy and providing numerous employment opportunities. He developed this concept further by opening the first local supermarket chain – Metro & Kheir Zaman, which is 100% Egyptian, and has grown to a network of almost 97 branches.

His background justifies his retail brilliance: from 1976 till 1981 he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Loutfy Mansour Trading Company, the Chevrolet dealer in Egypt and part of General Motors. As part of the Mansour system of rotating governance amongst its family members, he was next appointed as Chairman and Chief Executive of Mantrac until 1992. He then returned to his initial passion for financial investment and was assigned as Chairman of Mansour Holding Company for Financial Investments from 1992 to date. In 2006 he was also appointed as Chairman of Mansour Automotive Company until the end of 2009. Youssef Mansour is also accredited for being one of the founding members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt.

Mohamed Mansour is the Founder and Chairman of Mancapital opening the London office in 2010.

Mohamed Mansour was born in Egypt and schooled at Victoria College, graduating at the early age of 15. He continued his education in the United States and at the young age of 19 he achieved a B.S.E. in Engineering at North Carolina State University, class of ’68. Followed by an MBA at Auburn University in 1971 he then was selected to join the faculty and taught at Auburn University’s School of Business.

In 1973 he returned to his native Egypt and joined his father and the family firm Mansour and Sons to serve on the board of directors and join their cotton trading business. In 1975 he focused on the automotive business building the partnership with General Motors which began the profitable growth and is a core industry of the Mansour Group today. Under Mohamed Mansour’s Chairmanship their automotive business grew and today the Mansour Group is the largest distributor of General Motors worldwide.

Within the Mansour Group, Mohamed Mansour is the Chairman of Mantrac, the dealership for Caterpillar. Starting with Egypt, Mahomed Mansour’s leadership grew the partnership to six more African nations as well as Iraq and Russia and is consistently in Caterpillar’s top 10 distributors globally.

Mohamed Mansour served as Chairman of Credit Agricole, Egypt and The Lead Foundation and held a directorship in the Egyptian Stock Exchange, Chairman of the Egypt US Business Council and President of The American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, and served on the global advisory board of the Council of Foreign Relations.

Mohamed Mansour was appointed as the Minister of Transport in the Egyptian Cabinet in 2005. One of Egypt’s largest ministries responsible for five principle sectors: roads and bridges, railways, the metro, river transport, maritime transport and the ports. He resigned in October 2009 to return to the private sector and founded Mancapital in London in early 2010.

Mohamed Mansour has two sons, Mansour Mansour and Loutfy Mansour who is today CEO of Mantrac and Mancapital in London.

Born into a family of entrepreneurial talent, Yasseen Mansour brought his own unique flair to the Mansour success story. 

Starting his career at Mansour Automotive Company in 1986, he has since successfully lead and managed several companies in various sectors, demonstrating a unique ability to grasp and handle the art of business at its very essence, rather than master a single industry or form of management. 

He is also the Founder of Manfoods – the owner and operator of the McDonald’s franchise in Egypt. 

Yasseen Mansour has been a driving force behind the growth of Palm Hills Developments. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and has guided the company from a single-project entity into a leading real estate player in Egypt. 

As a dedicated philanthropist, he is committed to using his business acumen beyond his business endeavors and for the greater good. A co-founder and active member of the Lead Foundation, he is also an active board member of the National Cancer Institute, and Secretary General of the Future Foundation.

In 1999 Rawya Mansour founded RAMSCO for Refined Architecture and Interior Design. Rawya Mansour’s impeccable talents and unique flair in both the classical and modern interiors have earned her significant  attention in magazines and books such as House and Gardens from the USA to Russia, Greece, Czech Republic, England, and the Middle East.

After earning her title as a modern-day  of Interior Design Rawya Mansour looked to new interests as her passion for enriching lives took a new focus towards the underprivileged and the environment of developing countries. In 2007, Rawya Mansour founded RAMSCO for Trade and Distribution. There she developed and tested a holistic approach to organic agro-business within Egypt. This approach looked to developing new techniques which focus on enhancing national food security, hence halting the wheat subsidies and thereby the surge in food prices whilst combating the environmental degradation threating the world around us.

Ismail Mansour was the eldest son born in 1944 in Cairo, Egypt. He was schooled at Victoria College, Alexandria from 1950-1963, and continued his education in the United States at University of North Carolina from 1963-1968 where he majored in Business Administration.

In 1969 he returned to the Middle East and went to work for the family business Mansour and Sons focusing on their successful cotton trading business in Sudan. In 1975 he returned to Egypt to serve on the board of directors of the group’s automotive businesses.

Ismail Mansour is most remembered for his generosity and kindness.  As a very charismatic and confident individual he drove the success of the Group during its infancy.  He has passed away in 1997, and is succeeded by his three sons: Mohamed, Loutfy and Youssef whom are active members of the Mansour Group today.
